The Atwereboanda high school, which comprises six classrooms, a staffroom, a management office, a computer suite, and a toilet block, was completed in August 2019. Thanks to the mobilization of new patrons such as DFNI magazine, the Cœur Gourmand association, and the pastry chef François Granger, high school students are able to benefit from this brand new learning environment.
Our access to education program in Ghana is a long-term commitment. Planned and prioritized with local community representatives and FEDCO, this program reinforces our ambition to facilitate access to education and combat child labor. It includes other projects already carried out: the renovation of the Atwereboanda primary school in 2019, the renovation of the floor of the Wassa Nkran primary school in 2020; now in progress, the construction of the Bosomtwe primary school; and in the future, the Pieso high school.
